Amsterdam Art Weekend is an annual four day event that shines a spotlight on contemporary art in the Dutch capital.

With over 100 events taking place at more than 50 internationally renowned art and cultural institutes, it offers a comprehensive experience of the Amsterdam art scene. The program, consisting of an eclectic mix of exhibitions, performances, film screenings, lectures and tours, features young talents as well as established artists. It is designed to give an audience of art enthusiasts and professionals an opportunity to discover the latest developments in contemporary art. 
Amsterdam Art Weekend also presents an additional program exclusively for art experts and cultural professionals. The professionals program provides participants with a strong incentive to visit Amsterdam every year. 

The Stedelijk Museum will participate in the following programs:

Friday Nov 25.
- 10-5.45 pm: Symposium IACCCA with Beatrix Ruf
- 3-4 pm: Conversation Jelle Bouwhuis and Joep van Liefland, galerie van Zijll Langhout
- 4-6 pm: Amsterdam Art Weekend at IDFA with Bart Rutten, EYE filmmuseum

Saturday Nov 26.
- 10.30 – 12 am: Debat Museum Policies, De Balie
- 2-4 pm: Amsterdam Art Weekend at IDFA with Bart Rutten, EYE filmmuseum
- 10 pm – late: Opening Jordan Wolfson: MANIC /LOVE

Sunday Nov 27.
- 2-4 pm: Amsterdam Art Weekend at IDFA met Bart Rutten, EYE filmmuseum
- 3-4.30 pm: Documenta 14 - Learning from Athens

Amsterdam Art Weekend is organized by the nonprofit organization Amsterdam Art, which devotes itself all year round to promoting the best the city has to offer in contemporary art.
