Dominic van den Boogerd, director of De Ateliers (Amsterdam), gives a tour of key works on display as part of Temporary Stedelijk 2.
Dominic van den Boogerd is director and tutor of the international postgraduate artists’ institute De Ateliers in Amsterdam. His reviews, articles and essays have been published in numerous art magazines and exhibition catalogues in the Netherlands and abroad, including Metropolis M, Parkett, Frieze, De Witte Raaf, Stedelijk Museum Bulletin, Museumtijdschrift and Art Papers. Contemporary painting is one of his recurring subjects. Van den Boogerd published in monographs and catalogues on Marlene Dumas, René Daniëls, Luc Tuymans, Michael Raedecker, Anton Henning, Rob Birza, Manfred Pernice, Urs Fischer, Keith Tyson, Bernard Frize, Erik van Lieshout, Matthew Day Jackson, Fiona Tan and Rik Meijers. His monography on Marlene Dumas was published by Phaidon, London, in 1999.
