Well-known speakers from the fields of fine arts, architecture, music and fashion have been invited to share their views and perspectives on the exhibition Isa Genzken: Mach Dich hübsch!

The speakers will guide a small group of visitors through their personal selection of works in the exhibition. This series of gallery talks will address a wide range of aspects and establish cross-disciplinary connections with the central themes in Isa Genzken’s body of work.

MORE ABOUT THE GUEST SPEAKER

Arno van Roosmalen (1959) is director of Stroom Den Haag, centre for visual arts, architecture and urbanism in The Hague, Netherlands. He was curator for the City Collection at the Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum (1994 – 1999) and program coordinator of TENT, centre for visual arts (1999 – 2004), both Rotterdam. In 1997 he was curator of the Dutch Pavilion at the Venice Biennial, together with Leontine Coelewij (featured artists: Aernout Mik and Willem Oorebeek). In addition to his work at Stroom, Arno van Roosmalen is a member of advisory boards and juries for several national funds, cultural institutions and art academies.
