Curator and scholar Susanne Figner gives a tour of key works on display as part of Temporary Stedelijk 2.

Susanne Figner is a PhD student at the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, where she writes her dissertation on the topic of tragicomedy in Martin Kippenberger's oeuvre. Her research focuses on absurdist theatre and playacting as artistic devices to address global art, politics, and economics. She worked as a researcher at MoMA and The Drawing Center, and was an assistant curator for a private collection in Zurich. She has recently been appointed curator at the Kestnergesellschaft in Hannover and lives in Amsterdam and Hannover.
