Work by the Djaya’s was also on view at the Indisch Museum (now Tropenmuseum), from 1947-1948. Agus Djaya wrote an essay for the catalogue of this show, entitled Tentoonstelling van Werken van enige Indonesische schilders (exhibition with work by some Indonesian painters). This essay has been translated into English and can be accessed below.
