Everywhere you look: dots, dots and even more dots! Welcome to the joyful world of Yayoi Kusama. Make your own universe during the Stedelijk Museum KIDS Festival this fall break: Unravel the mystery together with Sara de Monchy in a special KIDS Audio Tour; customize your own backpack; and who says you have to stand still in a museum? During the KIDS Festival, there is plenty of time for action and dance.

At the Stedelijk Museum, you can step into Kusama’s extraordinary universe. And the best part? Here, you can not only look, but also participate, play, and create art yourself.

Program

KUSAMA KIDS AUDIO TOUR BY SARA DE MONCHY

10 am – 5.30 pm

Grab an audio tour player and join podcast maker Sara de Monchy on a journey of discovery through Yayoi Kusama's exhibition.

Move in the light

10 am – 4.30 pm

Sitting still in the museum? No way! Come dance among colors and light, or take a break from your exhibition visit with a free cup of lemonade.

Photobooth

10 am – 4.30 pm

Step on the dot together and make your own group portrait. Crazy faces allowed.

MY MINI-UNIVERSE

10 am – 4.30 pm

Where do you feel at home? Use your imagination and add your universe to the temporary ABN AMRO KIDS EXPO.

GYMTASTIC!

10 am – 4.30 pm

Decorate your own gym bag with Yayoi Kusama dots and take it home.
