To safeguard the maximum visitor capacity and the safety of visitors, it is desired to reserve a time slot to visit the Stedelijk Museum. This also applies to holders of a Museumcard, Membership, and other discount cards*. We offer this as part of our 6 feet museum protocol. It is also possible to buy a ticket at the door for a spontaneous visit, provided the number of time slots allows.

During the Bruce Nauman exhibition (running until 24 October 2021), there’s an additional one-off surcharge of €3 for all visitors of 18 years or older. More info:

Visitors with a Museum card, another discount card, or valid entrance ticket can order a time slot + surcharge via the ticket system. To do this, select the option 'Entrance Museumkaart' or 'I already have an entrance ticket/card/voucher'. Choose the surcharge in step two of the ordering process. Be sure that you also bring your Museum card with you when you visit the museum.

*Entrance is free for: Children and young people up to the age of 18**, Museumkaart, Friends of the Stedelijk Museum, Young Stedelijk Members, Rembrandtkaart, ICOM, Stadspas, Iamsterdam City Card, Amsterdam Pass, Holland Pass, Stedelijk Lerarenpas, BankGiro Lottery VIP-kaart.
