Miss a train? Then use those 'lost' minutes to check out the poetry light boxes at Amsterdam Central Station. The Stedelijk Museum and railway company NS, in collaboration since 2009, have invited young artists to provide their artistic vision for display in five light boxes hanging on the tunnel wall of the train station. The latest edition is a poem by artist Hanne Lippard (1984), designed by Mevis & van Deursen, the graphic designers of the Stedelijk Museum. They drew inspiration from the museum’s collection, identity, and the grand reopening.

Norwegian artist Hanne Lippard (1984) graduated from Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam two years ago and currently lives and works in Berlin. Her poetic and associative texts are characterized by distinctive rhythm and rhyme. Her texts in the five headlights form a poem:
