This year marks the 60th edition of the Venice Biennale. The Venice Biennale is a leading international art event held biennially in Venice since 1895. Like last year, we invite Young Stedelijk members again this year to an art programme in Venice Friday 26 to Sunday 28 April 2024.

This edition is curated by Adriano Pedrosa, Artistic Director of the São Paulo Museum of Art. The theme and title of the Biennale is "Stranieri Ovunque - Foreigners Everywhere".
This year, the Dutch Pavilion is represented by Renzo Martens together with members of the art collective Cercle d'Art desTravailleurs de Plantation Congolaise (CATPC). In collaboration with curator Hicham Khalidi, two presentations will be shown simultaneously; one at the Rietveld Pavilion in the Giardini of the Venice Biennale and simultaneously at the White Cube in Lusanga (DRC).
