During Museum Night, Amsterdam museums stay open until 2 am for one night a year and welcome thousands of new vistors.

In addition to seeing the two new exhibitions of contemporary art, Taking Place and Monumentalism, there is plenty more to see and do.

Stedelijk Museum brings you Stil(l) Stedelijk, a program with workshops, live music, yoga, slow food and guided tours.

This evening at the Stedelijk features a special live music performance by the Ives Ensemble, playing the composition Music for... (1984–87) by John Cage. Between 8 pm and midnight, the Ives Ensemble will perform in the renovated gallery spaces.

Other activities:
- T-shop: design your own T-shirt
- Yoga and meditation workshops
- Surprising presentations of LPs from the collection of Stedelijk Museum
- Guided tours by the Blikopeners

Please note that Museum Night tickets can not be bought at the Stedelijk Museum, neither is it possible to make reservations through our website for this event. More info on Museum Night tickets can be found at www.n8.nl
