Performance — Sep 30, 2016

Jean Tinguely (1925–1991) is known for his playful, yet robust machine art and explosive performances. Everything had to be different and everything had to move. In honour of the 25th anniversary of his death the Stedelijk Museum presents the retrospective Jean Tinguely – Machine Spectacle: the biggest exhibition of this artist ever in The Netherlands (1 October 2016 – 5 March 2017).

Not ticket? Don't worry. There will be a livestream of the opera performance and interviews available on the Facebook page of the Dutch National Opera.

After the performance curator Margriet Schavemaker will discuss and reflect on Moving Movements and the exhibition Jean Tinguely – Machine Spectacle with director Marcel Sijm.
