On Sunday May 25 families are the guests of honour at the Stedelijk. On this first Rabo Family Day you can discover art together, such as snotty vases and bizarre jewelry. There’s a lot to do for everyone. Artist Jan Rothuizen ('Zachte Atlas' (Soft Atlas) of Amsterdam) will tell you more about drawing & language. Describe what you can’t draw, and draw what you can’t describe.
Have you seen the jewelry of artist duo Gijs and Emmy already? Get some inspiration in the exhibition. After that you can make your own jewelry with artists Inge Roseboom and Esther Bruggink. Conjure with space and make a magical object with mirrors, accompanied by Studio Harm Rensink. Create your own One Minute Sculpture at the Marcel Wanders Poppud Up Familylab or make a special family portrait by photographer Johan Nieuwenhuize.
And there is a lot more to do!
The RABO Family Day is made possible with the support of Rabobank.
